"When I was invited to participate in the One80 Alpha group, I said yes and then started to second guess my decision. It was a very chaotic and stressful time for me and my family and I was concerned I wouldn't be successful. My focus was more to reset my gut and balance my hormones because I could feel my body being affected by the recent events in my life and I am turning 50 this year. Menopause and all the "fun" that goes with this phase of our lives was going into high gear and I was struggling to manage the symptoms. My sleep was interrupted again and my stress was increasing. I was using food to comfort me and felt sluggish and fearful. Doing this program with my friends was the best part. We share recipes and experiences all while cheering one another along. I love hearing and reading the stories and seeing massive success in such a short amount of time. The community is incredibly supportive and a great place to ask questions. What this program has done is offer yet another way to help people on their health and wellness journey. As a Registered Nurse, I am so aware of how many chronic diseases can be prevented and the food we eat plays a HUGE role in our overall wellness. Preventing problems is so much easier to manage than to repair severe problems. Having a space to share solutions is tremendously fulfilling and aligns with who I am and what I believe to be the most important value...our health...physical and financial. Grateful to be on this journey."

Doing my annual detox shedding the garbage toxins and inflammation that built up over the year. The one thing I know about this program is that it helps me release and reset my mind, body and spirit. The beginning is the toughest part because of detoxing headaches and know not to work on those days. The reward is fast results and amazing energy! I know our bodies accumulate so many toxins from our food, environment, and emotions. These little buggers can wreak havoc on our bodies. What I love is that I do not have to accept that getting older equates to feeling crappy. I'm 51 and feel amazing. Thinking of how much time I wasted criticizing my body over the years. I love me and this incredible body I was given. What miraculous things my body has done including growing and birthing 3 beautiful/incredible babies! Feeling blessed and grateful.

As my 50th birthday was approaching, I took some time to reflect how I wanted to look and feel on this milestone. I was feeling the effects of my daughter's hospitalization, my move, and the transition to becoming an empty nester. I knew another reset was just what I needed. Since I completed my 1st round of One80 that I completed in March, I've kept my weight down and eating and drinking what I want and shifting when needed. My 2nd round went so smoothly! I knew what to expect and trusted in the program completely. I'm feeling GREAT and ready to receive this milestone with so much gratitude.

Grateful to be on this journey. Phase 1 - was Fat Loading. Ugh! This was challenging for me and goes against everything I have been taught in Western Medicine. I have never biohacked my body before and learned to trust the process. I know I have been holding on to trauma, pain, toxins for a very long time and have struggled with my digestive tract longer than I would like to admit. My family has a history of gastrointestinal issues and I want to address this now before it is too late. Phase 2 - I started off this phase struggling once again. I wish I had prepared my foods better in the beginning as was recommended on our calls. Working 12 hour shifts, which is typical for RNs, was the most challenging to eat and drink according to the time and quantity shared in the program. I found my groove by week 2. Once I started making meals using the recipes, I was so happy. The flavors of the meals were delicious and I felt satisfied. Making sure I was on the calls was SUPER helpful because I could ask questions and receive the support I needed to succeed. What a great distraction this program was and I am feeling so much better. My range of motion and flexibility has improved so much and I love how I feel after yoga/pilates. Phase 3 a&b: Wow! I learned that I wasn't eating enough food and was eating the wrong foods for my body to feel good. What an eye opener!! I'm eating more and feeling great! So happy with my results!! Down 13 pounds total and keeping it off!

LOST OVER 100 LBS

So, 1 week ago was my 1-year anniversary of living the #one80life, and I was so busy all week that I didn't have any time to take pictures or measurements. But today, after church, I had a moment to snap a quick photo in my brand new suit. After 1 year and 1 week on ONE80, I'm weighing in at 159 after starting at 276.3. My heart used to be a ticking time bomb, but now, my health is immensely better. Still, I'm considered 11 lbs. overweight. And I'm not done yet, as Round 5 begins on May 1st in my quest for a visceral fat score of 1.
